What Sky Replacement does.
An overcast sky flattens an exterior: grey light, no shadows, a white void where the sky should be. Rescheduling a shoot for weather costs more than the listing usually allows.
Sky replacement swaps in a clean blue or soft gradient sky, blended with respect for rooflines, chimneys, and tree canopy. It also grades the house to match, so the light direction stays believable. It runs automatically on HDR Merge orders.

Is sky replacement acceptable for MLS photos?
It's one of the most common listing-photo edits and broadly treated as standard enhancement, since it changes the weather, not the property. Boards vary, so check your local MLS rules if in doubt.
What about photos where the sky reflects in windows?
Strong window reflections get graded toward the new sky so the frame stays coherent. It's part of why we grade the whole image rather than pasting a backdrop.
